NOTICE June 2026

This is a notice of the upcoming rehabilitation project for the existing water tower. This project will include a period of time where the existing and new filtration systems will be offline due toe water pressure in the system needing to be maintained at all times. The purpose of the project is is to provide necessary repairs to the existing water tower. The improvements needed are anticipated to take 6 to 10 weeks to complete and are planned to begin on July 6th.

Potential issues users may experience during this time include decrease in water pressures and elevated iron and manganese levels which may present aesthetic issues regarding color, taste, and odor. Residents may experience additional staining on light surfaces and are encouraged to be cautious when washing white clothing. Staff will make provisions to reduce the impact during this time, but users' are likely to still experience some minor issues. These issues will not affect users' safety to consume the water as all Primary Drinking Water Standards will be met.
